Terms of Service

MeMyFood is a food and cooking assistant that scans product labels and barcodes, generates recipes and meal ideas, and tracks nutritional intake.

The app is currently in a free trial phase for early users and feedback. That means features can change, break or be withdrawn without notice, and results may be less reliable than in a finished product. There is no charge and no payment or commission involved at this stage.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 where that is the local minimum) and give accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.

• Do not use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or bypass access controls and rate limits.
• Do not upload content you have no right to upload.
• Do not resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

Recipes, nutrition estimates, gradings and allergen flags are produced with automated and AI systems. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not professional dietary, medical or food-safety advice. You are responsible for checking anything you cook, buy or eat. See the allergy & nutrition disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

You keep ownership of the photos, ingredient lists and notes you put into the app. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process them in order to run the features you use. We do not claim ownership of recipes you generate or save, and you may use them freely.

The app itself — its name, branding, design, code and content we author — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused except as these terms allow.

Shopping suggestions link to third-party retailers. We do not control their prices, availability, product information or policies, and we are not responsible for what happens on their sites. Prices shown in the app are estimates for comparison only. We do not currently earn any commission from these links.

We aim to keep the app available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, faults and third-party outages can interrupt it.

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

MeMyFood is in a trial phase, so features and these terms will change as the app develops. When we update them we will change the date above and tell you in the app where the change is significant. Full legal terms, including company details and paid-plan conditions, will be published before any paid features are introduced.
